Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use our services:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and other contact details provided during registration or communication.
  • Usage Data: Internet usage statistics, device information, connection times, and locations where you access our WiFi services.
  • Payment Information: Plan, amount, currency, transaction identifiers, payment status, method, and refund history used for subscription management and support. Payment credentials entered in Razorpay Checkout, such as full card, bank, or UPI credentials, are collected by Razorpay and are not stored by Public WiFi.
  • Support Interactions: Records of communications with our support team, including inquiries and requests.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Data is collected only for legitimate business purposes and service improvement.

How We Use Information

Your information is used for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our WiFi services and user accounts.
  • To process payments, manage subscriptions, and deliver customer support.
  • To monitor network performance, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and ensure security.
  • To communicate important updates, service changes, or promotional offers (with your consent).
  • To analyze anonymized usage data for service improvement and business analytics.

We do not use your personal data for profiling or automated decision-making without your explicit consent.

Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following providers to protect forms and process payments. Information is sent to a provider only when you use the relevant feature.

Google reCAPTCHA

Login, signup, password recovery, contact, and checkout authentication forms use Google reCAPTCHA to detect automated abuse, spam, and fraudulent activity. When a protected form loads or is submitted, Google may receive and process technical and interaction information such as your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, cookies, and how you interact with the page. Public WiFi also sends the reCAPTCHA token to Google for verification. We receive the verification result and risk score, not the underlying Google profile information.

This processing is necessary to protect accounts and public forms. Google's handling of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service . If reCAPTCHA is unavailable or blocked, the protected online form may not work; you can use the phone or email options on our Contact page.

Razorpay

We use Razorpay to provide payment checkout and verify transactions. When you open checkout, we send Razorpay your name, mobile number, email address if available, selected plan, amount, currency, and order or transaction identifiers. Razorpay also receives the payment details and technical information that you provide directly in its checkout, which may include card, bank, wallet, or UPI information, IP address, browser, device, and transaction data.

Razorpay processes this information to complete and secure the payment, prevent fraud, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and provide payment support. Public WiFi receives transaction references, method, amount, status, and related confirmation information; we do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or online-banking password. Razorpay's processing and retention are described in the Razorpay Buyer Privacy Notice and Razorpay Privacy Policy .

These providers may process information on infrastructure located outside your state or country, subject to their safeguards and applicable law. Requests concerning data held directly by a provider may need to be submitted to that provider; contact us if you need help identifying the appropriate route.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of sensitive data both in transit and at rest.
  • Strict access controls and authentication for staff and systems.
  • Regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and monitoring.
  • Secure data centers and cloud infrastructure with physical and digital safeguards.
  • Immediate response protocols for any suspected data breach or incident.

We continually review and update our security practices to address emerging threats and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.

User Data Storage Policy

User data, including personal information and usage records, is securely stored in encrypted databases managed by our service. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only and governed by strict access controls. Data is retained only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide and maintain services to users.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
  • Resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or prevent fraud.

Regular audits are performed to ensure data integrity and security. Data backups are maintained for disaster recovery and business continuity, and are subject to the same security standards.

User Data Deletion Policy

Users have the right to request deletion of their personal data at any time. The deletion process includes:

  • Verification of the user's identity to prevent unauthorized requests.
  • Removal of all personally identifiable information from our active databases and systems within 30 days of request.
  • Retention of minimal data only if required by law, regulatory compliance, or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, dispute resolution).
  • Secure deletion of backup copies and logs containing personal data, subject to technical feasibility.

After deletion, data is unrecoverable and will not be used for any purpose. Users can initiate a deletion request by contacting our support team via the Contact page. We will provide confirmation once the deletion process is complete.
